Pedestrian killed in north valley accident

A man was killed in the north valley on Friday after being hit by a vehicle, North Las Vegas police said. Officers were called to the scene in the 3300 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, near Palmer Street, police spokesman Steven Weise said.
