Nevada Cattlemen’s Association gives statement on rancher Cliven Bundy

While distancing itself from the legal issues that prompted the Bureau of Land Management to roundup Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy’s range cattle then release hundreds of them as the threat violence loomed, the conservative Nevada Cattlemen’s Association issued a statement Wednesday that sympathizes with Bundy.

Izobel, 12, and Cianna Sturges, 9, teamed with their parents Peter and Debbie to craft “Las Vegas … Are We There Yet?”, a guide book that is part travel tips and part photo and journal memory book. The book is set up like a scrapbook packed with photos and ideas on what to do in Las Vegas. Debbie Sturges said the book was “created for families who would like to visit Las Vegas. Alternatively, it could also be very useful for local families who are not very familiar with what are fabulous city offers.”
