Inmate dies at Valley Hospital

A 34-year-old inmate suffering from a chronic medical condition died Saturday, the Nevada Department of Corrections announced Monday. Jason Risner died at Valley Hospital Medical Center. He had been hospitalized since Sept. 11.

California first state to ban all plastic bags
