Fatal Henderson police shooting to be reviewed

The public can attend or watch a televised fact-finding review Monday of a police shooting in June 2014 that killed a man after he shot at Henderson police officers. Ryan Allen Marone, 36, was shot to death June 11 last year by Henderson police who were responding to reports of gunfire at Marone’s parents’ home at 489 Flat Plains Ave., near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Gibson Road.

CBS Sports Network is televising 14 Arena Football League regular season games — including the Outlaws’ first ever and two “rock star” games with the L.A. Kiss.



Card collectors event one of 12 new, returning conventions, trade shows

Magic: The Gathering Tournament is a fantasy-based card-collectors competitive event scheduled in Las Vegas for the first time in May. The event is among 12 new and returning conventions and trade shows coming to Southern Nevada in 2015, each with expected attendance of 10,000 people or more.
