Three years ago, Heather Adams needed a car that could hold a cello, her husband and three growing children.
After some searching, she found that her 2011 Infiniti QX56 fit the bill. It was a sport utility vehicle that served as the family car.
Her oldest daughter’s cello fit in the back and left room for the two car seats needed for the family’s two younger children, Evelyn, then 1, and Aubree, then 5.
“I loved that car because it was so luxurious. It didn’t even feel like an SUV,” Adams said. “But three years later, my oldest, Isabelle, is almost 17 and she doesn’t want me to cart her around all the time. So, we decided to look for something smaller with slightly better gas mileage that we both could drive.”
In early November, Adams, 37, went to Park Place Infiniti, at 5605 W. Sahara Ave., where she found her car. The Park Place sales team, Adams said, “made the impossible possible.”
That was music to the ears of Park Place Infiniti general manager Joe Tortomasi. He said Park Place strives to be “experts in excellence,” emphasizing that employees across all departments provide superior customer service.
“We always treat our clients with the attention and consideration they deserve,” he said. “It’s at the heart of everything we do. When clients come in, they know they are being served by experts in excellence.”
This time, Adams bought a 2013 Infiniti JX35 to replace her previous Infiniti. It is a slightly smaller SUV with excellent safety features and the same interior comfort, she said. Four days later, her husband, Daniel, 42, wanted a new car of his own.
This prompted another visit to their friends at Park Place Infiniti, where he traded his 2011 Infiniti G37X sports coupe for the 2014 Q50 — a sleek, new sedan he could use as a family car but could also drive “just for the thrill of it.”
His new car is a four-door sedan that pairs the performance of a 7-speed sports car with luxurious interior comfort, including two touch screens. It is the most popular model sold at Park Place Infiniti, Tortomasi said.
“The sales guys over there became a little bit like family,” Heather Adams said. “We didn’t think we could get three cars, but with the great deal they got us on the first two, we thought, ‘Let’s go ahead and get one for Isabelle.’ We ended up buying three cars by Christmas.”
Isabelle’s Christmas surprise was a red 2003 G35 coup with just 12,000 miles.
“I love it! I’m very thankful to my parents,” Isabelle Adams said. “I always wanted a bright, cherry-red sports car. It impresses all my friends.”
