To honor Nevada’s 150th anniversary, Las Vegas Harley-Davidson will raffle off a one-of-a-kind Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle.
Two thousand raffle tickets priced at $150 each are on sale at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson, 2605 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 100, and at select Nevada 150 events throughout the state. Tickets also will be sold at events throughout Clark, Nye and Lincoln counties at which the bike will appear.
Raffle-ticket proceeds will go to the Nevada 150 Foundation, a nonprofit organization formed to support the Nevada Sesquicentennial Commission and official Nevada Sesquicentennial events.
The bike, a 2014 FLHX Harley-Davidson Street Glide, was signed by Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval. It was built from the ground up and features a custom two-tone Nevada blue paint job highlighted by the Battle Born Nevada 150th logo, the state seal and state flag. The motorcycle also features upgraded stereo and speakers and a heavy breather kit and mufflers for extra horsepower and sound.
“This motorcycle is an incredible tribute to the state of Nevada,” Sandoval said. “It is beautiful enough to be in a museum, but it is meant to be ridden. It will be an incredible prize for the lucky winner.”
The winner will be selected this fall at the grand opening of Las Vegas Harley-Davidson’s new location, 5191 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The 50,000 square-foot dealership will feature motorcycle rentals and a retail store. Visit www.hdnv150.com or call 702-431-8500, ext. 1183 for information.
