Hurry if you want to visit this 30-year institution in its current form -- it won't be here long. But that's good news for owners Amiel and Lynn Curnutt. They're taking over a grocery store site at Washington Avenue and Decatur Boulevard and setting up a larger, more automated factory that will supply local 7-Eleven stores. The longtime location at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Alta Drive will be demolished and replaced with a more retail-friendly shop. The chain of Dunkin' Donuts shops was dunked to second place.

A donut's a doughnut, no matter how you spell it. Yep, that's what we thought, until we stumbled onto a hard-to-trace, yet slightly unique flavor while biting into the fresh and light offerings at this always busy, family-owned bakery and coffee hangout.
