Readers' Pick: ANDRE'S FRENCH RESTAURANT

401 S. Sixth St.
The Las Vegas king of French cuisine is back upon his throne. After last year's upset in which low-key Crepes Pierrette grabbed firsts from both the readers and critics, Andre Rochat's homey and upscale French restaurant can now add yet another "Best" to its ever-growing stash from earlier contests. It remains the readers' favorite although well-regarded Georges LaForge and his fine French Pamplemousse - it means "grapefruit" and was named by late singer Bobby Darin - finished a healthy second.

Our Pick: ANDRE'S FRENCH RESTAURANT

This makes it easy. This category marks our first like-minded choice with our dear readers - can't you feel the bond deepening? - so read on to see if we shall again be able to share our wisdom and passion. For food, of course. Oh yes. We like Andre's a lot, too.
