Romantic RestaurantReaders' Pick: KIEFER'S ATOP THE CARRIAGE HOUSE105 E. Harmon Ave.The opening of the Rio's new tower-topping Voodoo Lounge combined with the prior arrival of the Stratosphere Tower's Top of the World restaurant means Kiefer's is no longer the only room with a view in short-of-windows Las Vegas. However, the vistas seen through picture windows in Kiefer's elevator-access dining room are still sharp if less dramatic than what's seen from atop its much-taller counterparts. The food is decent and fairly well-priced, and live piano and candlelight maintains Kiefer's two-year run as our readers' favorite place to snuggle up in. The tree-laden Tillerman and its retractable skylight came in second among would-be romantics. Our Pick: PIAZZA D'ANGELOS2895 N. Green Valley Parkway,Henderson We like to get away from the obvious choices, an easier task now that we've discovered D'Angelos, a restaurant transplant from northern California that offers romantic decor and artworks and authentic Italian cuisine; no unlimited bread sticks or salads at this tony establishment. Anyone fearing they might lose the moment through sloppy wine selections should call on a master sommelier for quiet advice to match your meal and wallet resources. There's also a slightly elevated view to the southwest that takes in part of Henderson and the hills beyond, and if you're booked into a hotel room, a restaurant driver will pick up you and friend for a free limo ride entrance that's sure to impress somebody.
