Seafood RestaurantReaders' Pick: RED LOBSTER200 S. Decatur Blvd.2325 E. Flamingo Road The franchise trend deepens with readers choosing the long-running Red Lobster for first place over second-place Landry's Seafood House. This local reader tabulation also reflects the national status and financial positions of the two biggest franchise seafood chains in the country. A return match is set for 1999. Our Pick: THE TILLERMAN2245 E. Flamingo RoadThe Tillerman was probably Las Vegas' first classic surf-and-turf restaurant and, with its upscale nautical decor and a plexiglass roof that slides opens above the main dining room on nice nights, it continues to fare just fine, thank you. It's reserved and, dare we say it, first-date romantic with a solid menu of seafood specialties and steaks for those unconcerned with healthier floating fare.
