Readers' Pick: TERIYAKI BOWL

4604 W. Sahara Ave.
Some 11 low-priced teriyaki outlets are now operating in Las Vegas, and this small independent serves the best rice bowl creations around, say R-J readers. It moved ahead of last year's winner and this year's second-place finisher, the clean Mikado Express. Don't forget to try the Chinese crushed red pepper sauce for an uplifting experience.

Our Pick: TERIYAKI BOWL

No, we're not getting tired and just playing echo to readers who already like the Teriyaki Bowl. We feel the same way, too, and find the fare tasty, healthful and a welcome break from having to decide whether to "go big" on your soft drink and fries at many burger outlets. And we love the crushed red pepper sauce even as employees look on in horror when we ladle it on our orders like it was ketchup.
