WrapsReaders' Pick: WENDY'S RESTAURANTSMultiple locationsIt figures that the hip trend toward wraps - essentially high-tech burritos with all manner of entree bites and sauces rolled inside the wrap with cooked rice - would be won by a burger chain that hopped on the bandwagon after the concept was tested on snooty Californians to good response. So Las Vegas already is seeing new wrap shops arrive and one of them, New York Burritos, moved into second place in this just-added category. Our Pick: NEW YORK BURRITOS947 S. Rainbow Blvd.7531 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Maybe we were hoping for some nasty New Yawk attitude to go along with the peaceful New Age buzz that surrounds healthy wraps and power shakes to wash them down. These must be actors at New York Burritos as they have proven friendly and present an unusual product that could be the hamburger of tomorrow or the yogurt maker of yesteryear. There is plenty of variety available here for those who are finally ready to give wraps a chance.
