Dollar Cinema operates two discount houses: the Paradise 6 and the Sunrise 7. Whichever theater you choose, the price is always right: a dollar. Wonder how they dreamed up that pricing policy? The Torrey Pines Cinema completes this category's double feature. Our Pick: DOLLAR CINEMA -- PARADISE 63330 E. Tropicana Ave.At least we're a bit more decisive than R-J readers. We actually chose the Paradise as our preferred place to watch movies we don't want to pay $7 to see, but still want to see on a big screen, the way movies were meant to be seen, before being shrunk onto video. Besides, we've always had a soft spot for the Paradise -- in a former life (and under a former owner), it was one of Las Vegas' few, doomed-to-failure art houses. And, as we all know, old habits die hard.
