Readers' Pick: DILLON'S DANCE HALL & SALOON

4660 Boulder Highway
Yee-haw! Dillon's devotees can kick up their heels and celebrate three straight wins in the race for ultimate boot-scootin' bragging rights. Even Marshal Dillon (the club's namesake?) and Miss Kitty would feel comfortable joining the easygoing crowd thronging this Boulder Highway honky-tonk, whether it's on the dance floor, around the pool tables or at the bar. Another longtime favorite, Sam's Town Western Dance Hall, two-stepped into second place.

Our Pick: ROCKABILLY'S

3785 Boulder Highway
This Boulder Highway barn keeps us dancing back for a variety of reasons, from the rodeo highlights in heavy rotation on the big screen TV monitors to the wide open spaces of the dance floor, where chicks dance with chicks, goofy guys show off ecstatically excessive two-step stylings and even those in tennis shoes and sweat shirts can find a home. Add the mechanical bull, the busy pool tables, the padded-bra wall decor and those lethal-looking glow-in-the-dark shooters and you have yourself a slice of honky-tonk heaven.
