Best Hotel BuffetCOMEDIAN LOUIE ANDERSON Rotund comic Louie Anderson professes a broad appreciation for the culinary arts, particularly food venues that offer ample variety.
In other words, he likes Las Vegas hotel buffets. And he has several favorites. "I've been to The Orleans buffet (4500 W. Tropicana Ave.). Where else can you get crayfish? That's crazy," he says with enthusiasm. His other top pick is the Carnival World Buffet at the Rio, 3700 W. Flamingo Road. Anderson lauds it not just for the diversity of edibles, but also for the fitness implications of walking such a long buffet line: "The line is so long, no matter how much you eat, you can walk the calories off." Anderson has been a Las Vegas resident since January 1997. He's most likely to visit a buffet "when a friend or relative comes in from out of town."
