Best Dancers

BALLERINA CLARICE GEISSEL

When a ballerina such as Clarice Geissel lets her hair down from that prim bun, where does she go to see the best dancers in Las Vegas?
First comes much hemming and hawing from Geissel, who's been with Nevada Dance Theatre since 1983: "Every show has good dancers. ... I have a lot of friends that have 'turned' (from ballet) and work on the Strip."
Then comes the skinny. Geissel's favorite dance production is "Mystere" at Treasure Island. "It's magic," she says.
She likes it "just because it's different (from other Strip shows). The moves, the whole way it's choreographed. The way one number flows into the next."
