     Even the president of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas likes a jolt of java now and then, to get the old brain synapses flashing.
     Carol Harter's vote for best cup of coffee goes to Starbucks Coffee Co., 4626 S. Maryland Parkway, where she frequently orders coffee and a scone.
     On weekend mornings in Las Vegas, she and her husband follow their own Starbucks tradition: "We love the cappuccino with no-fat milk. Sometimes we sit and read the New York Times. Or, we take it to go walking."
     The couple keep up the tradition at a California Starbucks shop whenever they spend the weekend at their home near Sacramento, Calif.
