Readers' Pick: RIVIERA COMEDY CLUB

  • Riviera
    2901 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Did ya ever notice how there's five different places to heckle along the Strip? (Ba-da-bing!) And why do they call it a club? Do you really want to be a member of any club that would let that guy at the next table be a member? (Ba-da-boom!) Readers tend to pass the jester's baton around on this one from year to year. This year they decisively decreed that the Riviera would be the King of Comedy, with the Comedy Stop at the Tropicana surpassing last year's winner, The Improv at Harrah's, for second place.

    Our Pick: RIVIERA COMEDY CLUB

  •      A good comedy rule of thumb: If you don't know the headliner, go for consistency. The Riviera has seen a lot of clubs come and go, but it doesn't stand still. It's always a solid value and unafraid to push the raunch envelope with its late-night "XXXtreme Comedy" showcase, if that's what you're into.
