DancersReaders' Pick: 'The Great Radio City Spectacular'3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South What could be more universally known than a Las Vegas showgirl? How about a Rockette? That might explain a blowout victory for Radio City Music Hall's synchronized high-kickers, whose image predates Las Vegas plumage by at least 20 years. The 22 sets of gams cover the bases, from a little flag-waving red, white and blue to a spicy Spanish "Bolero." The more indigenously Las Vegas dancers of Bally's "Jubilee!" choreographed a second-place showing. ![]() Our Pick: 'EFX'3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South We admit that in this rather capricious category, a "dancer" is judged less along the evaluative criteria of a George Balanchine than a Rodney Dangerfield. In this case, it's cool that the "EFX" dancers can not only avoid getting bonked on the head by spaceships or falling into the giant sinkholes created by descending scenery, but can actually hold their own amid the spectacle with some energetic moves. At least that's how it looks to us through our special 3-D glasses.
