Readers' Pick: GUADALAJARA BAR & GRILLE

  • Boulder Station, 4111 Boulder Highway
Palace Station, 2411 W. Sahara Ave.
These longtime favorites tried to keep things lively for readers by adding a salsa bar and a $5.95 lunch buffet in recent months. Tres Lobos, a similar patio-themed restaurant inside the Stardust, sizzled to second.

    Our Pick: GARDUNO'S

  • Fiesta
    2400 N. Rancho Drive
If your hotel has a Mexican theme, you'd better have a showplace Mexican restaurant. Even though we picked this one last year, it hasn't let us down. The Albuquerque, N.M., management still rates its chili hotness on a little blackboard, they still serve up creative carnes and seafoods, and they still offer that $9.99 margarita brunch on Sundays.
