Poker Room

Readers' Pick: THE MIRAGE

  • 3400 Las Vegas Blvd. South
The town's two "serious" poker rooms -- by that we mean, where the big boys play -- rightfully pass this title back and forth. This year, The Mirage rakes the chips back across the table from Binion's Horseshoe, which folds 'em for second.

    Our Pick: RIO

  • 3700 W. Flamingo Road
Those folks at the Rio want to take over every category on this ballot, if not the world, and we admire their tenacity for trying to get us to take their poker room seriously. You don't have to be a big fish to swim in this pond, but the Rio's successful poker tournament last year will put it on the map with those boys as well.
