HOTELS
SteakhouseReaders' Pick: THE STEAK HOUSE2880 Las Vegas Blvd. South It's no surprise to see this repeat winner triumph over nearly 20 other spots. It is still a novelty to walk past all the hotel's garish trappings and into a clubby, sophisticated manly man's room where the meat locker is on display for you. Second on the grill were The Broilers inside Palace and Boulder Stations. Our Pick: THE RANGE3475 Las Vegas Blvd. South The food has to compete with the view: A rounded room in the new Harrah's annex that offers a sumptuous view of Caesars, The Mirage and other points of interest. But the steaks hold their own if you're looking to try something new. A 20-ounce filet -- with the bone still intact and pistachio salsa butter -- runs you $24.95. That's about average for the beef entrees, though you can get out for less.
