Readers' Pick: INTERSTATE 15

     It's a long stretch of road, folks, and you didn't specify where, so we'll have to make this a guessing game. You can't mean the infamous, perpetually-under-construction, guess-which-lane-ends-NOW! area paralleling the major Strip exits. So we'll just attribute this vote to wishful thinking -- and the general assumption that, when driving I-15, you must drive as fast as you can to get anywhere in a timely fashion. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where they drive even faster, screeched into second place.

Our Pick: AIRPORT CONNECTOR

  • Interstate 215
         No one ever drives to the airport this way. And that leaves the coast clear for all the speed demons who just can't suppress their irresistible urges. We're not sure how much longer this mini-autobahn will last, given Green Valley's seemingly endless growth, but for now, when we get the urge to merge into traffic -- after zooming through a claustrophobic, eerily lit tunnel -- we know where to go. And now, so do you.
