The King of the Blues, the man who can bend notes like a contortionist and make a guitar speak like nobody's business, is one of the most influential, downright coolest bluesmen of the last half-century. Flip your radio dial just about anywhere except a classical station and you're apt to hear echoes, however faint, of the man's musical style. B.B. King doesn't play hereabouts nearly as much as we'd like, but we Las Vegans are proud to count him as one of our own.
