Name a collectible or antique category -- the Shoppes have it. You awarded second place to the Red Rooster Antique Mall.

         We went for small and intimate. "Purveyors of the Past" reads the lettering on the window of this old-fashioned sole-proprietor shop. Sugarplums Etc. has some large pieces but excels in smaller items such as perfume bottles, hatpins, old postcards and jewelry. Sole proprietors are usually more amenable when a buyer wants to negotiate.
