Worst Problem Facing Las Vegas
Water? Crime? Bungling politicians? Nada. It's traffic that gets the nod as our city's worst problem this year. Readers don't get to write explanations for their Best of Las Vegas picks but you can almost hear their cries. Interstate 15 has been an obstacle course as the state overhauls the interchanges, and simple fender benders continue to bring U.S. 95 to a crawl. The old chicken and the egg quandary comes to mind with the readers' second choice for Las Vegas' worst: growth.
