Worst Hotel Show

Readers' Pick: 'SPLASH'

Riviera 2901 Las Vegas Blvd. South      Despite some changes made by producers last spring, the Riviera's aqua-themed production show remains overdone and disjointed. While full of diversions such as a 20,000-gallon aquarium used for synchronized swimming and high dive acts, and computerized water fountains, there's just nothing to hold this 90-minute production together. "Crazy Girls," another Riviera show, was given the second-place trophy. While the topless show inspired the now infamous bronze sculpture of the dancers' backsides, readers are looking for more substance in a show that seems more interested in being crass than entertaining.
