BEST OF THE WORST
Worst Movie Theater
5201 W. Charleston Blvd.
It's all about bells and whistles. Red Rock Eleven Theatres just doesn't have the high-tech amenities of the newer moviehouses. Even the most sentimental Las Vegans, the ones who remember the theater in its heyday, can't ignore its outdated look, sticky floors and mediocre sound quality. Runner-up in this category went to the Cinedome Theatres of Las Vegas on South Decatur Boulevard. Like Red Rock, it just doesn't have the spit and polish of its newer competitors. Besides, some of the screens are so small it reminds one of watching films in high school biology class.
