BEST OF THE WORST
Worst Traffic Trouble Spot
No surprises here. The tangle that is the intersection of Interstate 15 and U.S. 95 is getting so bad that Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard at 5 p.m. on a weekday with a major convention in town is starting to look pretty good. Not only is it common to sit at the interchanges on this twist of highway as if there were a stoplight flashing red at the other end, merging can seem like a major life decision (Hmm, do I make this guy mad or do I nudge my way in front of that monster-size gravel truck barreling my way?). Decatur Boulevard and Sahara Avenue is second choice for harried readers probably still having nightmares about exiting the intersection's strip malls.
