Landry's isn't much to look at decor-wise, but, once inside, you'll find a solid menu of oceanic offerings. It's a bit pricey compared to some seafood eateries around town, but Landry's is consistently good and a welcome option for those of us who'd rather not visit a casino for good seafood. Be sure to watch this space next year: Landry's bested Joe's Crab Shack by a mere one vote for this year's win.

If Red Lobster brings to mind a Maine seafood sensibility, Joe's Crab Shack is Key West all the way. The casual restaurants offer a variety of seafood including, not surprisingly, crab-based preparations. But, being the everyday Joes and Janes we are, we covet the fish and chips.
