Unlike some Thai restaurants around town that veer toward a hole-in-the-wall sort of ambience, Thai Spice -- now chalking up its fourth Best of Las Vegas win -- is an almost genteel place. The food is always tasty and intriguing -- although you should remember to keep an eye on your chosen entree's heat level -- and Thai Spice has some of the best soups we've tasted. We'll concede the ambience is nothing to write home about at Prommares Thai Food. But we don't care. We come for the food, which is absolutely delicious. There are lunch specials during the week -- not an insignificant reason behind our love for Prommares -- and the service is friendly and efficient.
