A New York burrito? What's in that? Pastrami? Well, yes, actually. The mushrooming chain offers several versions of the very hot -- pop culture-wise -- trend of stuff rolled into a tortilla shell with veggies, sauces and spices. New York Burrito makes traditional and less-traditional versions of the basic wrap, all of them good. PF Chang's was your second-place choice.
Our Pick: WRRAP TOWN
2351 N. Rainbow Blvd.
We've never met a wrap we didn't like, but we really like Wrrap Town's upscale, modernized version of the basic pierogi/pasty/ravioli/egg roll. Wrrap town offers a menu of tasty ingredients -- you can even have a salmon-based wrap -- served inside soft spinach, sun-dried tomato or cilantro tortillas. Progress marches deliciously on.
