The pink dome scores again, presumably for the Coney Island-style atmosphere. Small fries can ride the little airplanes, teens can rocket around on the Canyon Blaster, and Dad can sit and have a beer -- all in a refreshingly nonthemed park. MGM Grand Adventures, which also has steered back to carnival basics from poorly realized themes, placed a distant second.

The family that sprays together stays together, or something like that. In the search for an attraction that appeals to all family members, it seems like there's more common ground to be found in the water at this longtime fixture on the north end of the Strip. There's the insanity of the Der Stuka slide for your adrenaline-crazed teens, the lazy river for the less active, and maybe a Royal Flush -- the newest ride -- to stir the whole clan together.
