A decisive, no-one-even-close vote suggests the new titan on the block has lived up to the hype. Room rates fell below the $150 mark during the holiday lull, but are hovering at $260 per weeknight during March's heavy convention season. Maybe you just want to drop by for the $100 "O" show, or for dinner: Would it be the $65 prix fixe menu at Picasso or the $75 five-course tasting at Aqua? The Forum Shops at Caesars rang the second-place cash register of more retail-minded dreamers.
Our Pick: BELLAGIO

Seems we too have been sucked in by all that Andrea Bocelli warbling during the breaks in our 6 o'clock news. We're a jaded lot, we locals, and value-oriented neighborhood casinos have taken most of our business away from the Strip. So when we press our noses against the windows of those gorgeous Bellagio restaurants and say we'd eat there -- the next time a rich relative or expense-account-conventioning friend comes to town -- we darn well mean it.
