If you think traffic's scary at Tropicana Avenue and the Strip, try looking like you're going to kamikaze-dive 75 feet into it at nearly 70 mph. The unique location is a part of the Manhattan Express' appeal. The roller coaster seems to have worked through the problems that plagued it after opening in early 1997; for the third consecutive year it's Las Vegas' favorite coaster in a category where a lot of people had an opinion. The Desperado Roller Coaster at Buffalo Bill's hurled into second.

Yep, there's just no other place for an upside-down view of the Strip while barrel-rolling with the Express' "heartline" twist-and-dive. The 180-degree corkscrew will stir up that Nathan's hot dog you scarfed while waiting in line and shake free any loose change the slot machines didn't.
