For two years runnin' the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels gave us roller coaster rides, Cinderella stories and in February, Western Athletic Conference division excitement. Win or lose, the fun of going to a game is back.
Our Pick: UNLV GOLF TEAM
Admittedly, it's not the first sport you associate with the drama of college athletics. But UNLV's golf team won the NCAA Men's Golf Championship last May. Considering how many of us experience golf's many, er, challenges, the victory was something we could relate to more than, say, the crushing work of a football lineman.
