Rio
3700 W. Flamingo Road
Two of the town's most popular buffets duel to an unusual tie in this chow-down showdown. Main Street Station's nine action stations serve up $7.99 brunch specialities Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the Rio's five-nation Carnival World lineup dishes out $11.95 brunch fare from 8 a.m. to 3: 30 p.m. You make the call. Whichever your choice, they're both a lot more affordable than this category's pricey runner-up: Bally's lavish, break-the-bank $49.95 Sterling Brunch.
Our Pick: GARDUNO'S
Fiesta
2400 N. Rancho Drive, North Las Vegas
After we wake up, we wake up our taste buds with Garduņo's hot-and-spicy fare -- and lively mariachi music that adds to the fiestalike fun. (Fortunately, this brunch runs from 10: 30 a.m. to 3 p.m., so we don't have to wake up too early.) Besides, the margaritas they pour as part of the $10.99 price cool things off considerably -- at least until the next bite of chili-charged carne asada or a spicy seafood selection starts the whole cycle again.
