Italian Restaurant

Readers' Pick: RISTORANTE ITALIANO

Riviera 2901 Las Vegas Blvd. South Northern Italian? Southern Italian? Try Vegas Italian, as exemplified by this vintage Strip dining room, where red leather booths, beamed ceilings, wall murals and Renaissance artworks prevail, along with a menu featuring familiar pasta, veal, chicken and seafood repasts. The Riviera's resident Italian ristorante almost doubled the vote total of its nearest rival, the Pasta Palace at Boulder Station and Palace Station.

Our Pick: RISTORANTE ITALIANO

Ring-a-ding-ding, readers! You obviously know a good thing when you see -- and taste -- it. The menu and decor probably haven't changed since the Rat Pack era, contributing to this ristorante's retro-Vegas ambience. Despite the looking-backward look of the place, the food isn't mired in the past. If you want a dish that doesn't show up on the menu, just ask -- you may very well receive, and exclaim "Delicioso!" when you do.
