Steakhouse

Readers' Pick: THE STEAKHOUSE

Circus Circus 2880 Las Vegas Blvd. South The winner -- and still champ. Or should that be chomp? With a name like The Steakhouse this perennially popular meat-muncher's paradise -- a dark, clubby contrast to the midway madness surrounding it -- acknowledges no competition. And it doesn't have much competition to acknowledge, according to Review-Journal readers who voted it their favorite for the second consecutive year -- this time over Kokomo's at The Mirage.

Our Pick: THE RANGE

Harrah's Las Vegas 3475 Las Vegas Blvd. South Like readers, we're repeating ourselves in this category. But our choice once again is Harrah's delicious room with a view. Curved windows provide appetizing views of Caesars, The Mirage and other Las Vegas landmarks, but the fare here is strong enough to compete with the panoramic sights. The Range is one steakhouse where there's a home for more than unembellished slabs o' beef; offbeat salsas accompanying meat and fish entrees add a zip to this handsome Strip eatery.
