Bellagio
3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South
This was such a no-brainer, it makes the real question one of how people came up with picks in years past. The winners used to come from commercial galleries such as Moonstruck -- last year's winner demoted to a waaaay distant second this year. And nothing has really changed, since the Bellagio's masterworks are actually for sale. A Roy Lichtenstein painting, for instance, sold before the gallery even opened.
Our Pick: THE BELLAGIO GALLERY OF FINE ART
You think we're going to argue with $285 million in masterpieces? Sure, we spent a good deal of last year following the debate over whether the collection could still have its tax break and its $12 admission charge, too. And while we're on the subject, the collection does seem a bit small for that kind of fee. But keep in mind: Last year, we couldn't see a Van Gogh, Monet or Picasso on the Strip and this year we can.
