Steve Wynn and second-place finisher Andre Agassi tend to dominate this category. In fact, these local luminaries -- one builds billion-dollar megaresorts, the other hits tennis balls for a living -- are the only gents in this category. That's amazing and potentially ego-deflating to guys who lack the talent and skills of this dynamic duo. Oh yes. Wynn's win this year ends Agassi's two-year reign but there's already talk of a rematch.
Our Pick: JOE WILLIAMS
"Class" is an overworked term that, for a change, fits perfectly when used in any discussion of Joe Williams, a living legend whose wonderful voice has delighted fans since his early work with Lionel Hampton, Coleman Hawkins and Red Saunders in the 1940s. Williams' seven-year run with the Count Basie Orchestra beginning in 1954 enhanced the careers of both performers. Williams, 80, still features his unique swinging style on "Goin' to Chicago" and "Smack Dab in the Middle" from his days as a prince among the Count's court of greats.
