Vintage Clothing Store

Readers' Pick: THE ATTIC

1018 S. Main St.
Well, if it's hip enough for Visa. That's right, the company deemed this place worthy of a commercial that is often sandwiched around videos on MTV and that venerable show, "Saturday Night Live." If the hippie-paint on the outside doesn't draw you in, then the selection of retro clothes should. They can go way beyond the typical vintage garb and into portions of the stratosphere right on for those past the bowling shirt stage. Buffalo Exchange was runner-up.

Our Pick: RETRO VINTAGE CLOTHING

906 S. Valley View Blvd.
This vintage store not only offers a variety of both funky and classic clothes, the owner has added some personal touches that make it a hidden treasure. She puts her own label in all the clothing and has decorated the dressing rooms to reflect the boutiques of the 1950s and '60s. There also are lots of accessories, such as sunglasses, purses and gloves, so anyone can play dress-up on a budget.
