Longest Stoplight

Readers' Pick: DECATUR BOULEVARD AND SAHARA AVENUE

From whichever direction you approach it, this intersection has all the traits we hate most. Long traffic-light cycles. Left-turn stacking lanes that exceed capacity, interfering with smooth traffic flow in travel lanes. Lots of shopping-center entrances -- which guarantee lane blockage by drivers determined to enter or exit said shopping centers, come hell or high water. Second place goes to the stoplight at Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard South.
