Best Italian Restaurant

Readers' Pick:
OLIVE GARDEN
Multiple locations
Voters are sold on the unlimited breadsticks and salad refills as well as the Americanized Italian pasta dishes. It's also a kid-friendly, lively environment with decent prices, large servings and no illegible daily specials scratched onto a chalkboard. Its fare is consistently prepared which, in this day and age, often is enough to generate hordes of loyal customers. Family-owned Ferraro's finished in second place.

Our Pick:
FERRARO'S
Multiple locations
Gino Ferraro's original outlet on Flamingo Road earned his reputation for authenticity and moderately priced Italian fare by pleasing customers, including showroom headliners, with a casual ambience and good wines. Sauces are fresh yet resonate with slow-cooked patience that marks a difference from most of the rest of the field.
