Best Japanese Restaurant

Readers' Pick:
HAMADA OF JAPAN
Multiple locations
One of the few locally born restaurants that has worked its way into hotels on the Strip (the Flamingo, for example) and rather distant neighborhood casinos such as the Regent Las Vegas. The name carries clout with locals who likely frequented the original location at 598 E. Flamingo Road, then found the fare at ensuing outlets to be just as solid. Osaka, another locally owned enterprise that has expanded to Summerlin and Green Valley, finished with a respectable show of reader support that garnered a second-place award in an increasingly crowded field.?

Our Pick:
SUSHI
Multiple locations
There's a Sushi on Rainbow, a Sushi on Tropicana and a Sushi on Summerlin and it seems enough residents who sampled an outlet near home were impressed to give the recent arrival its first Best of Las Vegas win.
