For the second year running, readers chose to do their outdoor sitting in a well-land-scaped courtyard between stores in the Sahara Pavilion shopping center. Gordon Biersch Brewing Co. was the second choice for its walled but roofless dining area just to the right of the front door.

Fashion Show mall
There's no better people-watching than on the Strip, and for a few years this Fashion Show mall restaurant fronting Las Vegas Boulevard was the only place to eat outside and watch them. New outdoor choices at Paris and The Venetian opened last year, but since we only learned how to say the name of this place, we'll stick with it a little longer.
