Best Wine Selection

Grape Street's large selection of wines brought it Wine Selection honors from R-J readers.

Readers' Pick:
GRAPE STREET
7501 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
Nothing was a smarter idea for the bustling "restaurant row" stretch of Lake Mead Boulevard than this place: A wine bar that doesn't bankrupt or intimidate the novice, thanks to a daily array of by-the-glass selections. Coming in second was the Olive Garden.

Our Pick:
BOISON'S
4503 Paradise Road
Sure, the hotels can outspend the owner of this free-standing restaurant near the Hard Rock Hotel when it comes to stocking their cellars. But Jack Nethercutt does the legwork to compensate, making frequent treks to California wine country to make sure he always has interesting selections to please both the hard-core and casual wine connoisseur.
