It's time to quit taking Carlin for granted. He's at Bally's three or four times a year, yet it still speaks to his image that nobody thinks of him as a "Las Vegas comedian." Indeed, Carlin is blunt and brutal, dissecting much of what makes Las Vegas tick: Crass commercialism, theme restaurants, euphemisms in our language. You gotta love him.
