The bad news is your choices for showgirls -- at least the traditional headpiece-and-feather type who strut down giant stairways -- are down to two. The good news is that both "Folies Bergere" and "Jubilee!" have reinvested money to freshen up their shows in a bid to ensure the showgirl never goes the way of the Landmark or Dunes. It almost goes without saying that "Folies" placed second.

Last year saw the retirement of "Enter the Night," a ¹90s attempt to reinvent the showgirl at the Stardust. But the "Folies" recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a "greatest hits" edition that preserves its high-kicking legacy with some of the last true runway model-style showgirls in town.
