Best Bookstore

Review-Journal readers selected Borders, with several locations in the Las Vegas Valley, as Best Bookstore.

Readers' Pick:
BORDERS
Multiple locations
A user-friendly layout, lots of helpful employees and an impressive selection make Borders bookstores a reader favorite. We're not sure if Borders wants this to get out, but every time we've called to ask if they have a difficult-to-find magazine, they've checked for us ‹ and then held it at the checkout stand. Service like that is hard to beat. Barnes & Noble Booksellers checked in at second place.

Our Pick:
BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSELLERS
Multiple locations
Remember the days when you could only furtively scan a book before deciding whether to buy it? Barnes & Noble effectively put an end to that, with cushy chairs that call out to you to curl up and sit a spell with a good title. Starbucks Coffee shops provide the opportunity to buy a late-night snack -- or early morning breakfast -- so you could spend all day at the bookstore, maybe finishing that book in the process.
